The shop corbels are now complete.

Shaun and Dan (with help from our new apprentice Jack) have been making progress with the joinery for W. Smith’s Chemist and Photographer’s . The impressive shop corbels, with all their typical Victorian details, are now complete. The boxes for the Georgian sash windows, which are replicas of those on the building we are copying on Elvet Bridge in Durham, are also finished. Similarly, the reclaimed front door has been altered so that it will fit our shop front and is now ready to be glazed.
